Without a significant contribution from volunteers, the railway heritage story cannot be told. That's why the Office of Rail Heritage has valuing and building on railway heritage volunteering as a critical objective to create a sustainable future for our railway heritage.
There are many ways you can play a part in conserving and celebrating our rich railway heritage. Individuals and groups with a range of skills and experience are needed across the State. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer contact your local group or one of interest from the NSW Railway Heritage network.
