Lachlan Valley Railway brings the steam era to life operating tours from an authentic steam roundhouse, which dates back to 1923. From steam locomotives to vintage diesels, passenger and goods vehicles - the Lachlan Valley Railway Society formed in 1974 and works to conserve rolling stock formally used by the NSW Government railways. Along with conserving the broad railway heritage collection, volunteers also offer a range of interactive visitor experiences such as local heritage train rides and tours.
